{"id":60,"date":"2005-04-06T11:40:06","date_gmt":"2005-04-06T18:40:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lucazoid.com\/bilateral\/iaska-beginnings\/"},"modified":"2010-11-09T17:16:07","modified_gmt":"2010-11-09T06:16:07","slug":"iaska-beginnings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lucazoid.com\/bilateral\/iaska-beginnings\/","title":{"rendered":"IASKA beginnings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arrived in Kellerberrin late last week to begin a 2 month (April\/May) residency with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaska.com.au\/\" title=\"iaska\">IASKA <\/a>(International Art Space Kellerberrin Australia)&#8230; luckily I caught the launch of Kirsten Bradley (of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cicada.tv\/tiki-index.php?page=IASKA+residency\" title=\"kirsten's blog\">Cicada<\/a>)&#39;s wonderful Saltmilk environment. Not sure what will pan out for me here in Keller, but a few things are shaping up in my mind:<\/p>\n<p>-working with the quirky local newsletter &quot;The Pipeline&quot; (a photocopied A4 &quot;zine&quot; in which the contributors do their own design, it makes for a fabulous fluxus-like publication)&#8230;<br \/>-workshops with media students (13-14 year olds) in neighboring town Cunderdin to make some sort of collaborative project over the next month and a bit&#8230;<br \/>-new local blogging action including making my own rather than relying on blog-city&#8230;<br \/>-learning how to play chess (perhaps i will advertise in &quot;The Pipeline&quot; for a chess pardner&#8230;<br \/>-a big Expanded Cinema show at the end of the residency, including a mini-Aussie tour for the stunning <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canyoncinema.com\/M\/McCall.html\" title=\"line describing a cone\">Line Describing a Cone<\/a> by Anthony McCall &#8211; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.warwickartscentre.co.uk\/gallery\/album28\/McCall_1\" title=\"line describing a cone\">pictures here<\/a>) &#8211; Perth Sydney and possibly Brisbane and Canberra&#8230;<br \/>-visits from all my wonderful Perth friends and family<br \/>-anything else you might care to suggest&#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arrived in Kellerberrin late last week to begin a 2 month (April\/May) residency with IASKA (International Art Space Kellerberrin Australia)&#8230; luckily I caught the launch of Kirsten Bradley (of Cicada)&#39;s wonderful Saltmilk environment.
