I think this is a really important issue, and dovetails nicely with the recent Say No to Nothing campaign, which lobbied for increased artists-fees in Australia. The dole is an excellent form of income for artists, yet too often individuals are intimidated or put-off by the beaurocratic hoop-jumping they have to endure to get that fortnightly cheque.
